Epidemiologist and member of the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team Predrag Kon stated that this team made a decision today that pupils of higher grades of elementary school and secondary school students return to classrooms as of 19 April.

After a session of the team, Kon said that the team also decided to reduce the price of the PCR test for foreigners from RSD 18.000, as it has been until now, to RSD 9.000, which is the price for Serbian citizens, in order to boost tourism.
The team also discussed the Belgrade marathon, which should be held in June, and decided that preparations for the competition part of the marathon can start, whereas everything else will depend on the situation.
As for other measures, there are no changes, everything remains as until now. The epidemiological situation is no longer extraordinary, but we evaluate it as unfavourable, Kon underlined.
According to Kon, in order to return to normal life, as in Israel, we need to have 3.5 million immunised people, and right now we have 1.2 million citizens who have received two doses, and 1.8 million one dose.
