The COVID-19 Crisis Response Team proposed new measures to fight the epidemic, which will be in force as of today, 5 April, at 6.00.
An important new element is that all facilities and institutions that are allowed to work have the same allowed working hours, from 6.00 to 22.00.
As of tomorrow, cafes and restaurants with a garden will be allowed to work exclusively outdoors while respecting all epidemiological measures, which, among other things, include a maximum of five people at the same table with a mandatory distance of two metres between tables. Also, it is forbidden to perform a stage music programme (live music in the gardens).
Cafes and restaurants can still sell food and beverages over the counter (whether or not they have a garden) while delivery remains allowed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Shopping malls still remain closed, as well as cafes and restaurants that do not have a garden.
The measure that all facilities must secure at least nine square metres per person or visitor is still in force. Exceptions are fitness clubs, spas, gyms and the like where sixteen square metres per person must be provided. The number of persons present in the facility includes employees.
The Serbian government notes that from tomorrow morning, the inspection supervision of compliance with all epidemiological measures on the territory of the entire Serbia will be intensified.
Pharmacies, gas stations, laboratories, veterinary clinics and the like can work non-stop every day, as before.
The Serbian government once again calls for respect for all epidemiological measures and appeals to the personal responsibility of all citizens. All measures are introduced in order to protect the health of the population and reduce social contacts to a minimum, but until the final victory over the pandemic, the contribution of all individuals in society is needed.
Vaccination against infectious disease Covid-19 will continue in the coming days without interruptions according to the previously established plan.
