A:

4,091 new cases of COVID-19 registered

Belgrade, 8 March 2021

The Ministry of Health announced today that 4,091 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours, out of 13,596 samples tested.

Another 17 people died from this disease, so that the total number of deaths is 4,579 and the mortality rate is 0.94 percent.

4,237 people are hospitalised, with 176 patients on ventilators.

A total of 3,055,280 people have been tested in Serbia since the beginning of the epidemic, and 489,530 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, it is stated in the announcement.
