State Secretary at the Ministry of Health and President of the National coordination team for immunisation Mirsad Djerlek said that today, on the first day of mass revaccination in Serbia, around 6,000 citizens will receive the second dose of the vaccine against coronavirus.

Speaking at Belexpocentar, where a third vaccination site in Belgrade has been opened, Djerlek underlined that the second dose of the vaccine has been kept for every citizen.
He said that today the first and the second doses of the vaccine are being administered across Serbia, which is why it is necessary to open vaccination sites outside health institutions, such as Belexpocentar.
Our goal is to be fast and efficient because that is the only way that we can achieve a positive effect in the fight against COVID-19, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health underlined.
Djerlek said that over million people in Serbia applied for vaccination through portal E-Government and that more than 540,000 received the jab against COVID-19.
