Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar attended today at the Clinical Centre of Serbia the handing over of a donation from the German Embassy, which consists of five clinical ventilators intended for intensive care.
The donation, worth €145,000, was handed over by German Ambassador Thomas Schieb.
Loncar expressed gratitude to Germany for the donation, emphasising that solidarity is important at this moment, and that the help of that country has not stopped at any moment.
The Minister also expressed gratitude to Germany for giving approximately 200,000 doses of flu vaccines to the citizens of Serbia, to whom, at the same time, he called on them to adhere to preventive measures, because that is the only way to preserve health.
This is a modest sign of German support. These are five ventilators from a German manufacturer. I hope that we will contribute with ventilators so that patients in Serbia recover faster, the Ambassador said.
