Addressing the press, Vucic, together with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Serbian Parliament Speaker Ivica Dacic, said that he had informed the government about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as about how much money is being invested in the southern Serbian province.
Also, at the session, they talked about how to influence the increase of the GDP rate in Serbia, which again reflects on the standard of living and is of crucial importance for salaries and pensions, the President added.
The third topic was the coronavirus epidemic, he pointed out and added that it is causing more and more problems because the hospitals are getting fuller.
According to him, it was stated that Belgrade is an increasingly pronounced hot spot, which is why we are working in three shifts so that the hospital in Batajnica would be opened on 1 December.
Vucic mentioned that, according to current data, there are seven deaths caused by coronavirus today, and due to the smaller number of tests, we have fewer infected, with a higher percentage of positive ones, while approximately 2,000 patients are in COVID hospitals.
The President appealed to the citizens to adhere to the measures in order to protect our elderly fellow citizens, and at the same time expressed his belief that the hospital in Krusevac will be able to be completed by 19 December.
In accordance with that, he sent a request to Prime Minister Brnabic and all members of the Crisis Response Team not to make a decision on closing the catering facilities, if possible, so that the sector would not be left without income.
The President of Serbia conveyed that the projections of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are that the total economic growth of Serbia in the next three years, i.e., this and the next two, will amount to 10.2 percent, estimating that it will be the best growth in Europe.
He also referred to the course of the dialogue with Pristina, saying that he informed the members of the government that Serbia could not accept Pristina's position that it would form the Community of Serbian Municipalities after the recognition of independence, because the Community of Serbian Municipalities is an unconditional obligation under the Brussels agreement.
They committed themselves to the creation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities not on the condition of any recognition, but on the condition that the things about the regional police, participation in the elections, everything that was written in the Brussels agreement were fulfilled, and they cannot invent new agreements that do not exist, he stressed.
The President announced that a decision would be made by 10 November on the entry of Serbian citizens into the territory of North Macedonia and Albania without PCR tests, as well as for their citizens in Serbia.
Also, as he explained, from then on, it will be possible for Serbian citizens to enter the territory of Albania without a passport, only with an ID card, while entry for an ID card on the territory of North Macedonia is already possible.
