The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia began today the first special session in the twelfth convocation, whose agenda includes the election of the government of the Republic of Serbia and the swearing in of the Prime Minister and members of the government.

On that occasion, Prime Minister-designate and former Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will present her speech and the composition of the cabinet.
On 26 October, the Serbian Parliament adopted the Law on Ministries, which stipulates that the new government has 21 ministries.
The government is elected if a majority of the total number of deputies votes for it.
After the election, the Prime Minister and its members take the oath before the deputies, which marks the beginning of their term.
