Kisic Tepavcevic pointed out at the press conference of the COVID-19 crisis response team that four children and four mothers were hospitalised in the Dragisa Misovic Clinical Hospital, while one child is treated in the Nis Clinical Centre.
Reminding that there are numerous hotspots around us, she assessed that the epidemiological situation in our country is stable, but uncertain, because it can change very quickly, which mostly depends on us.
She noted that the goal of the measures adopted at the session of the crisis response team to establish supervision for all citizens returning to the country from 18 September at 18.00, is to preserve and improve the epidemiological situation.
Epidemiologist Predrag Kon pointed out that the measures adopted today serve to keep the coronavirus from entering Serbia as much as possible, and for our citizens to behave in a way that befits this situation after the summer.
The supervision that will be applied from Friday is yet to be defined, but it implies a huge cooperation of our citizens who have returned to the country, stated Kon.
We must not leave the borders open just like that and let the coronavirus circulate. A tough decision was made to bring it under control, he said.
