Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar stated after a meeting with the employees in COVID hospitals that today, after a long period of time, the number of hospitalised COVID-19 patients will fall below 400.

In a statement to the press, Loncar explained that we will have that number after today’s discharges from hospitals, appealing to everyone to do everything to preserve such a result, which was not easy to achieve and which can only be achieved by adhering to measures - wearing masks and keeping distance.
Avoid crowds indoors, do not give the virus a chance to spread again. That is the only way to fight and help employees in COVID hospitals because they expect that from us, the Minister underlined.
Currently there are 85 health workers infected with coronavirus in Serbia, three of whom are in hospital, whereas in social care institutions, the virus has been confirmed in 60 residents and 31 staffers.
