After meeting with the employees in COVID hospitals, Loncar stated that the number of examinations in COVID dispensaries is lower today than yesterday, as well as that the number of cured patients is growing.
He stated that 260 health workers are currently infected with the coronavirus in our country, 13 of whom are in hospitals, while others have a milder clinical picture.
The Minister also stated that 247 people are currently infected in social protection institutions, of which 72 are employees.
The virus has not weakened, it is among us, but the measures we are implementing are yielding results and that is why we must not relax. A serious autumn awaits us, when the coronavirus can merge with the seasonal flu, the Minister warned.
According to him, until a safe and secure vaccine against coronavirus appears, the best protection is to implement the recommended measures – wearing a mask, maintaining distance and hand hygiene.
