Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar announced today, after a session with the directors of COVID hospitals, that KBC Zvezdara has left the COVID system and will receive non-COVID patients tomorrow.

Loncar said that the Orthopedic Hospital Banjica will be able to receive the first orthopedic patients at the beginning of next week after disinfection.
He reminded that the Clinic for Dermatology and the Institute for Rheumatology have already returned to the regular system of work.
According to him, the number of patients in COVID hospitals, severe patients on ventilation, as well as the number of deaths is decreasing, but there is still a large number of examinations in COVID dispensaries.
The Minister said that, if the number of infected patients continues to fall, the next to leave the COVID system will be Occupational Medicine and the General Hospital in Mladenovac.
Loncar appealed to all citizens to adhere to the measures – wear masks, maintain distance and hygiene.
