Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar stated that there are enough vacancies in COVID hospitals in Serbia to receive all patients infected with coronavirus who need hospital treatment.
After the meeting with the directors of COVID hospitals, Loncar told reporters that the number of examinations in COVID clinics and the pressure on all health care institutions is decreasing, as well as that there is no need to move patients from one health care institution to another.
The Minister pointed out that they will not hurry with the return of COVID hospitals to their regular condition, noting that the number of health workers in COVID centres will be reduced, so that they can use their vacations.
Loncar added that they will not wait for the hospital to be completely emptied in order to return to normal operation, but parts of the hospitals will partially return to their previous state.
