Kisic Tepavcevic assessed that the numbers are still high and repeated the appeal to all citizens to be the most responsible now and to respect all preventive measures.
She stated that nine children infected with the coronavirus were placed in the KBC "Dr Dragisa Misovic", while there are six pregnant women in gynecology department who are positive for COVID-19.
Six children are accommodated in the old part of the Nis Clinical Centre, and three are in the pediatric ward at the Sabac General Hospital, she specified, noting that all children are in a stable condition and have a milder clinical picture.
Kisic Tepavcevic pointed out that of all the cases registered so far, 52.84 percent are infected men, and 47.16 percent are women.
She pointed out that people are hospitalised because of the severity of the clinical picture, regardless of whether they have a PCR finding or not, while in Belgrade the share of those who were hospitalised and did not have the result of the mentioned test was 40 percent.
Director of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina Edita Stokic stated that 312 coronavirus-positive patients are being hospitalised in that institution at this moment.
