Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar announced today that there are enough places in COVID hospitals in Belgrade for the next three days, so there will be no need to redeploy patients from Belgrade to the interior or from the interior to the capital.
After the meeting with the directors of COVID hospitals, Loncar explained that this means that by Monday, 27 July, according to all current parameters and in case there is a slightly worse scenario than now, there is capacity in all hospitals that deal with these patients.
The Minister pointed out that the works in the temporary hospital in the "Stark Arena" are coming to an end, and reminded that two new hospitals in Belgrade and Krusevac are planned for the fall and winter, with the possibility that in a month prepare a hospital in the village of Knez near Nis, with 300-400 beds, for a possible new wave.
