Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Chen Bo, who handed her a letter from the Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang.
The letter states that Serbia and China are facing a common challenge for human society this year, the coronavirus pandemic, and that the two countries are cooperating and helping each other in fighting this pandemic, which shows a high level of relations and further deepens the friendship between the peoples of Serbia and China.
In the letter, Keqiang emphasises that China, together with the Serbian side, is ready to further deepen the exchange of experiences and cooperation in the field of medicine and public health, as well as to consider the possibility of cooperation in other areas, in order to permanently improve relations between the two countries.
Brnabic pointed out that the strategic cooperation between Serbia and China has been once again proven in the fight against the coronavirus, and expressed gratitude for the assistance provided so far by China and its provinces.
She also expressed gratitude for the help of all companies, but also for individual donations from Chinese citizens, which were sent to Serbia in order to fight the epidemic.
