Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar announced today that from Monday, in the sports hall "Stark Arena", a temporary COVID hospital will be opened, which will have 500 hospital beds and all conditions for admission of patients with coronavirus.

In his address to the press, after the meeting with the directors of COVID hospitals in Serbia, Loncar announced that from Tuesday, the Orthopedic Clinic in Banjica will be back to the COVID system.
Every day, we accept more than 100 patients for hospital treatment, said the Minister and warned that during the weekend, until Monday, the biggest burden of admission will be borne by KBC Zemun.
According to him, the hospital in Pozarevac is the next hospital that will switch to the COVID system.
The Minister and the directors of the clinical-hospital centres appealed to the citizens to take seriously the situation caused by the coronavirus and to respect and apply all the prescribed protection measures in order to protect themselves and others from this infection.
