First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic announced today that the Office of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has officially informed the Serbian Embassy in Athens that Greece will close its borders to Serbian citizens tomorrow, except for necessary trips that require a special permit.

In a statement for the Tanjug agency, Dacic warned our citizens should not to go to Greece in order to avoid the situation that a large number of people find themselves on the road or at Greek border crossings without the possibility of entering the territory of Greece.
He added that our citizens, who are already in Greece as tourists, will be able to stay there until the end of their holidays and return to Serbia.
