Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar stated today that due to an increased number of coronavirus cases, the Clinical Hospital Centre “Dr Dragisa Misovic” will be returned to the COVID-19 regime of work as of tomorrow morning and will admit only COVID-19 patients.

After a meeting with directors of COVID-19 hospitals, Loncar explained that infected children from entire Serbia will be treated at “Dr Dragisa Misovic”, as well as the infected patients who need haemodialysis.
The General Hospital in Pancevo will also be turned into a hospital for coronavirus patients, with a capacity for 150 patients.
The Pancevo hospital will help us in case the number of new infections increases, Loncar said and added that the Clinical Hospital Centre “Zvezdara” will also expand its capacity for coronavirus patients by 60 beds, 30 today and 30 tomorrow.
Speaking about the situation in Novi Pazar, the Minister underlined that a number of patients have been transported to the Kragujevac hospital for treatment, and a number to Belgrade, and underlined that additional capacities have been secured for entire Serbia.
