On that occasion, Minister Zoran Djordjevic assessed that the social protection system responded excellently to the pandemic, except for the cases that happened in Nis and Negotin, which were a consequence of the human factor.
Director of the Office of the World Health Organisation in Serbia Marijan Ivanusa said that one of the basic tasks of this organisation is to help member states, especially in emergency situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
He explained that the WHO has developed various procedures that can be used to analyse the responses of national institutions.
