Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Branko Ruzic attended today the delivery of a donation from the Norwegian Embassy in Serbia, consisting of protective equipment intended for inspection services in the country, as a contribution to the fight against coronavirus.

The donation includes protective masks, gloves, visors, disinfectants, gowns and scanners worth approximately 14,500 euros and is intended for those inspection services that are most exposed to the risk of COVID-19, namely sanitary, market, health, drug and labor inspections.
Ruzic emphasised that these inspections gave their full contribution to the regulation of the state of emergency, but that the sanitary inspection, market inspection and labour inspection carried the greatest burden because together with the economy they ensured that the citizens of our country feel the burden of the state of emergency as little as possible.
Norwegian Ambassador to Serbia Jorn Eugen Erling Gjelstad said that it is important for his country to continue to contribute to the development of Serbian inspectorates that monitor the economy and nurture good practices among Serbian companies and corporations.
