Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin attended today at the Karaburma Medical Military Centre a ceremony of delivery of a donation of medical equipment for the prevention of spread of coronavirus from the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Vulin expressed gratitude to UK Ambassador to Serbia Sian Macleod and Defence Attache Nicholas Ilic on the donation, which includes a disinfection tunnel, worth RSD 944,000, which will be of great help to Serbian doctors and medical staff.
He explained that this tunnel is a reason why there is not a single infected health worker in the Karaburma Medical Military Centre.
The donation also includes 14 fridges for storing medicines, worth RSD 217,680.54 , Vulin specified.
Macleod underlined that the donation of medical equipment represents a sign of solidarity in the fight against coronavirus .
Ilic noted that Serbia and the UK were allies in the First and Second World Wars and they are allies again now in the fight against coronavirus .
