The suspension of teaching on the premises of the institutions of higher education, secondary and primary schools, as well as the suspension of work of these institutions is in force as long as the danger of the spread of COVID-19 lasts. Certain educational activities can be organised on the premises of these institutions, with the application of all protective measures.
When visiting parks and public areas intended for recreation, citizens are obliged to maintain a distance of two metres from each other.
The employers engaged in retail trade activities, the establishments serving food and beverages and the owners of shops in shopping malls are required to take all preventive measures to combat COVID-19. This implies a limited number of people in the same space, disinfection of facilities, use of protective equipment and disinfectants.
Organisers of games of chance can perform their activity in facilities that do not exceed 400 square meters, with the application of all binding protective measures.
Personal documents that have expired during the state of emergency will be considered valid if requests for the issuance of new ones are submitted within 30 days from the date of termination of the state of emergency.
The government has also adopted a decision on non-repayable assistance from the budget of the Republic of Serbia in the net amount of RSD 30,000 per month, for a period of three months, to persons who have the status of a person that performs independently artistic or other activities in the field of culture, established by the representative culture association in accordance with the Law on Culture.
Also, the government agreed at today's session to send a letter to "EuroLeague Basketball" organisation, guaranteeing the entry of participants in the finals of the 2019/2020 season in the Republic of Serbia.
The City of Belgrade, with the support of the President of the Republic of Serbia, has officially applied for the organisation of the EuroLeague finals, which will be held from 4-26 July this year. The organisation of the largest basketball club competition in Europe would be a great honour for our country and a great tourist incentive, bearing in mind that this industry is hardest hit by the coronavirus epidemic.
