Deputy Director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic in Belgrade Ivana Milosevic stated that since the last report until 15.00 today 5,086 persons were tested, of whom 157 tested positive for coronavirus, bringing a new total of coronavirus cases in Serbia to 9,362.

Number of new coronavirus cases continues to fall

Milosevic said at a regular coronavirus press briefing at the Palace of Serbia that 2,286 patients are hospitalised and that the total number of persons tested is 96,637.
In the past 24 hours four more persons died, bringing to the total number of fatalities to 189, with the death rate being 2.02%.
She added that a total number of persons cured is 1,426.
She could not say, as a doctor, when the ban on movement will be abolished, but added that she believes that it is perfectly natural that when all other measures are relaxed, that occurs too.
Responding to the questions from journalists regarding traveling abroad in the summer, Milosevic said that these measures are in preparation and that various countries propose that travels from foreign countries commit themselves to a certain quarantine upon arriving.
The ways of doing that will depend on the number of those infected in the summer months, Milosevic underlined.
