On behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Korea, Kyung-wha expressed her sincere gratitude for the generous assistance that the government of Serbia has provided in the country's recent efforts to return Korean nationals amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
She expressed her deepest condolences to all those who lost their loved ones and / or are affected by COVID-19 in Serbia, as well as her solidarity with the efforts made by the government of Serbia to combat this worldwide unprecedented health crisis.
I am convinced that Serbia will deal with the pandemic in an efficient way and will minimise its negative consequences, bearing in mind that your government is taking the necessary steps to control and prevent the further spread of the virus, Kyung-wha said.
She expressed the hope that even in these difficult times, the necessary travel between the two countries will continue, including for businessmen, as it constitutes an important basis of our strong bilateral relations.
