After meeting with EU representatives and ambassadors of EU member states, attended by members of the Serbian government, Vucic stressed that our country continues to comply with EU regulations and rules, but that it retains the right to always express its position on any issue, in accordance with the democratic principles of the Union.
He recalled that the EU allocated €93 million in aid, of which €15 million in emergency supplies and €78 million in support of economic recovery, noting that more than €4 million are earmarked for goods, most of which will arrive in May.
Vucic stressed that Serbia has more protective equipment than necessary, which also refers to ventilators, and is ready, if necessary, to deliver them within 12 hours to any EU member state.
According to him, last year the total trade of our country with the EU was almost €26 billion, and a decade ago only €10 billion, which shows how far Serbia is progressing, as well as our economic cooperation with the Union market.
The President also reminded that the inflow of investments from the EU into Serbia amounted to €15 billion, adding that it is very important to continue this.
