Provincial Health Secretary of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Zoran Gojkovic stated that until today at 15.00 a total of 6,630 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Serbia and three persons died in the last 24 hours.
Speaking at a regular coronavirus press conference, Gojkovic said that since the last report until 15.00 today 3,111 persons were tested for coronavirus, of whom 312 tested positive.
A total of 3,703 patients have been hospitalized, whereas 108 patients are on ventilatory support.
Since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, a total of 41,812 persons who met the criteria of the definition of the case have been tested and added that 870 citizens have been cured so far.
In the last 24 hours three persons died, two men and one woman. Coronavirus has so far claimed a total of 125 lives in Serbia.
At the government session today, in line with the epidemiological situation and opinion of an expert team of the Ministry of Health and the government’s COVID-19 Crisis Response Team, the decision on relaxation of some coronavirus restrictive measures has been made. The new measures will become effective as of tomorrow.
