Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said today that 157 members of the Ministry have been confirmed to have coronavirus infection, noting that four police officers have died from the disease.

Appearing at Radio Television of Serbia, he said that over the weekend, police arrested about 800 people who were on the street without a permit to move and said that all those who did not respect the measure will be punished.
He also pointed out that the crime rate dropped by about 55%, and that the police kept law and order very effectively and acted in all cases where there was a need to intervene.
