First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic announced that another flight to Paris and Frankfurt will be organised tomorrow and a flight to Washington on Wednesday to get Serbian citizens back to the country.
Dacic said in a statement to Television Happy that about 5,000 Serbian citizens have been returned so far, about 2,500 of them by airplanes, and about 2,500 by bus.
He said that a flight to Bratislava was also organised today as 320 people most of whom lost their jobs are returning from Slovakia.
He estimated that many citizens have unrealistic expectations that the state would send a plane directly to pick them up and told them to come as close as possible to Serbia, which significantly facilitates their return to the country.
My appeal to all those who do not have to return is to plan their return once this crisis calms down, Dacic said.
