The Ministry of Defence stated that Russian military experts, who arrived in Serbia to assist in the fight against coronaviruses, have begun disinfection of health facilities in several cities of Serbia today.
According to the plan, the units of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence (CBRN) with special-purpose technology have disinfected approximately 65,000 square metres on the premises and around health facilities.
In the first phase, Russian medical teams are analysing the epidemiological situation and consulting with their Serbian counterparts for an in-depth knowledge of the health situation, and will soon provide direct medical assistance to patients with coronavirus.
The Russian military experts are divided into eight medical teams and each team has general practitioners, epidemiologists, anaesthesiologists, medical technicians and interpreters, while the rest of the delegation is made up of CBRN experts.
