The Ministry of Defence stated that a six-member team of medical experts from China completed its visit to the Karaburma Military Medical Centre in Belgrade and concluded that it is very well equipped to receive coronavirus patients.
They said that the hospital, which has been organised for response to COVID-19 disease in only 10 days, meets all the standards for the treatment of moderate and severe coronavirus cases.
Deputy Head of the Infectious Diseases Clinic of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University Binliang Lin said that three separate zones have been set up at this hospital – an “infection zone” for accommodation of patients, a ”clean zone” for the medical personnel and a “buffer zone” in between them, where doctors will get changed.
Taking into account that there is an entrance for patients, an entrance for doctors and these three zones, we think that an excellent layout has been made at this hospital, Binliang concluded.
