A member of the Crisis Response Team to Curb Infectious Disease COVID-19, epidemiologist Dr Predrag Kon stated that Chinese experts, at the first meeting with the Crisis Response Team, evaluated very positively the measures taken by the government aimed at supressing the coronavirus epidemic.

Speaking at a press conference at the Serbian government, Kon announced that the consultation with the Chinese doctors on all details and next measures will be continued.
He stated that up until now, 187 people in Serbia have tested positive for coronavirus, 97 are hospitalised, 14 are on ventilatory support and two people have died, one of them being an elderly woman who was on ventilatory support.
Dr Darija Kisic Tepavcevic from the Public Health Institute of Serbia “Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut” announced that as of tomorrow citizens will be updated on the epidemiological situation once a day, at 15.00.
She explained that this is done bearing in mind the ban on movement, adding that all information will continue to be available and that the dynamic of reporting will be changed only.
