Prior to the start of the curfew, a police car was circling the streets of Belgrade with a megaphone. The law enforcement bodies in this way urged all citizens to head to their homes and respect the measures of the ban on movement.
During the first hour of the curfew in Belgrade, several people were detained who did not want to go home at the request of police.
The start of the curfew, which was imposed by a decision of the Serbian government in the territory of the entire country due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus, was respected in Nis. There were almost no cars on the streets, let alone pedestrians.
The curfew went without major problems in the rest of the country too.
