Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today visited the Clinic for Infectious and Tropical Diseases in Belgrade to get acquainted with the condition of the coronavirus patients and the conditions and means available to the institution for their care.
Infectious Clinic Director Goran Stevanovic and a team of physicians briefed the Prime Minister on the condition of patients currently in intensive care, pointing out that the conditions for patient care are good and that there is sufficient accommodation.
Stevanovic also spoke about the large number of patients who show up at the hospital with milder symptoms, without the prior instruction of an epidemiologist.
He explained that extremely mild cases with extremely mild symptoms are referred for home treatment, with a binding recommendation for strict home isolation and phone numbers that can be called in case the condition worsens.
