January 27: Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 to win the Australian Open men's final in Melbourne.
March 3: A long jump of 6.99m enabled Ivana Spanovic to win the gold medal at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow.
June 23: Men's national water polo team won the gold medal in the FINA Men’s World League after defeating Croatia in the final - 12-11 (1-3, 5-2, 1-3, 5-3).
July 14: Novak Djokovic edged Roger Federer, 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 13-12 (3), to win the Wimbledon final.
September 8: Women's national volleyball team beat Turkey in the final, 3-2 (21-25, 25-21, 25-21, 22-25, 15-13), to take the gold medal at the 2019 CEV Volleyball European Championship.
September 29: Men's national volleyball won the CEV Men's Volleyball European Championship after defeating Slovenia in the final - 3-1 (19-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-20).
November 29: Tijana Bogdanovic won the gold medal in the women's 49 kg event at the European Taekwondo Championships in Dublin.
December 7: Tijana Bogdanovic took the gold medal at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final 2019 in Moscow.
