Serbia men's team enter quarter-finals of European Water Polo Championship

The Serbia men's national water polo team beat Slovakia 10-5 (3-3, 3-1, 2-1, 2-0) last night to reach the quarter-finals of the European Water Polo Championship in Belgrade.

Serbia will face the winner of the match between Germany and Russia on 18 January.
Four Serbian players scored a brace each: Dusko Pijetlovic, Milan Aleksic, Filip Filipovic and Andrija Prlainovic, with Martin Famera also scoring two goals for Slovakia.
The match was attended by Minister of Youth and Sport Vanja Udovicic, together with his Deputy Uros Zekovic and State Secretary for Sport Predrag Perunicic.
