Serbia supports territorial integrity, sovereignty of Ukraine

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, following the news about the participation of Serbian citizens as observers in the elections in eastern Ukraine on 2 November, it once again wishes to reiterate that our country supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
The statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that Serbia also supports the continuation of the peace process, with firm belief that only dialogue can lead to a solution in accordance with international law and with the respect for the UN Charter.
Serbia is ready to give its active contribution to this as the country that will hold the chairmanship of the OSCE next year.
Taking into account the above-mentioned, the representatives of any official institution of the Republic of Serbia - neither the Government nor the National Assembly were recruited as observers, nor were in any way involved in the electoral process in the east of Ukraine, it is underlined in the statement.
