Serbia qualifies for World Group of Davis Cup

The Serbian tennis team will play next year in the World Group of the Davis Cup since it beat India 3-2 in World Group play-off.

The decisive third point for Serbia was scored by Filip Krajinovic, who today in the continuation of the match that was interrupted yesterday due to heavy rain, beat Yuki Bhambri 3-0 in straight sets (6-3, 6-4, 6-4).

On the first day of the duel, Serbia led 2-0 when Dusan Lajovic beat Bhambri 3-0 in sets, and Krajinovic defeated Devvarman in four sets.

On Saturday the Indian pair Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna beat Serbian pair Nenad Zimonjic and Ilija Bozoljac 3-2 in sets, and on Sunday Devvarman defeated Lajovic 3-2.
