The basketball team of Serbia won a silver medal last night at the Basketball World Cup in Madrid after being defeated 129-92 (35:21, 32:20, 38: 26, 24:25) by the team of the United States.

Serbia has taken two steps forward compared to the previous world championship in Turkey in 2010, where it was ranked the 4th, while the team of the United States won gold.
