Serbia enters semi-finals of Basketball World Cup in Spain

The Serbian basketball team entered the semi-finals of the Basketball World Cup after defeating Brazil 84-56 in a quarter-finals match held in Madrid.

By qualifying for the semi-finals of the Basketball World Cup, Serbia repeated the success from the championship in Turkey four years ago.
In the semi-finals match that will take place in Madrid on 12 September Serbia will play against the winner of the last quarter-finals match between France and the host Spain that will be held tonight.
The other semi-finals match, between Lithuania and the USA, will take place in Barcelona on 11 September.
