Secretary General of the Serbian government and Deputy Secretary of the Serbian Election Commission Veljko Odalovic stated today that 107,958 voters have been registered in Kosovo-Metohija, who will cast their votes at the 16 March parliamentary elections in 17 municipalities.
Odalovic specified that there will be 90 polling stations, same as at the 2012 elections.
The entire election material was taken over by election commissions together with the OSCE, which will provide logistic support and oversee the safety of the election process in the southern province.
He voiced hope that everything will go very well at the elections in Kosovo-Metohija and that the international peacekeeping missions will ensure conditions for peaceful holding of elections.
According to an agreement with the OSCE, which will provide transport of the election material, election commissions will count votes in Vranje and Raska, Odalovic stated.
