Higher level of cooperation of China, countries of Central and Eastern Europe

Premier of China Li Keqiang announced today that a business council of China and countries of Central and Eastern Europe will be formed, which will be a new step and a new phase in their cooperation.
In his address to the Fourth Economic and Trade Forum of China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe held in the Sava Centre, Keqiang said that cooperation between China and these countries should be raised to a higher level, and should produce more concrete results.
Speaking about the possibilities for cooperation, the Premier of China singled out infrastructure projects and a stronger financial cooperation, and announced that the Chinese side can established a new investment fund worth $3 billion.
He said that he expects new models of cooperation such as public-private partnerships, noting that trade between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe can be doubled.
In the world economy it is necessary to create such cooperation between partners where they can complement each other, such as the cooperation between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Premier of China said.
Big European countries have advanced economy and technology, the countries of Central and Eastern Europe have great potential for development, while China has a large production capacity, Keqiang stated.
China, he added, is turning away from producing consumer goods to becoming a major manufacturer of advanced technology and equipment.

Minister of Commerce of China Gao Hucheng said that China plans to cooperate with countries of Eastern and Central Europe in order to establish new mechanism and remove barriers for achieving better economic growth.
