As part of ‘Police Day’, Serbian Minister of Interior Dragan Jocic released a new digital radio network called Tetra.

The minister presented the advantages of the digital radio system, adding that along with constabulary use it could be of use to the army, Security Intelligence Agency, customs service, tax police and other government services.
Jocic said that the first phase, due to be completed in the second half of this year, will cover the cities of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and Corridor 10.
Minister Jocic also laid a wreath on the memorial plate of Jakov Nenadovic, the first police minister in Serbia. Also present were Army Chief-of-Staff Dragan Paskas and head of the Security Intelligence Agency Rade Bulatovic.
