The memorandum was signed during the event “The Vital Role of Women: Serbia and the UAE Leading the Future Together”, organised in Abu Dhabi by Minister Macura, in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Family.
The memorandum envisages the exchange of experiences and knowledge, the development of joint initiatives, programs and events, as well as the organisation of workshops, seminars and study visits with the aim of improving institutional cooperation between the two countries.
An exhibition “Outstanding Women of Contemporary Serbia” was also organised, dedicated to women who have contributed to the development of modern Serbian society with their work, while female entrepreneurs from Serbia and the UAE spoke about their experiences and challenges in the business world.
On this occasion, Macura emphasised that the relations between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates today represent an example of sincere partnership, mutual respect and long-term trust, built through the relations between the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and the President of the UAE Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
Suhail stated that the exchange of international experiences further strengthens the role of women as key partners in the development of society and drivers of positive change, noting that relations between Serbia and the UAE are an example of constructive cooperation based on shared values and a vision of women’s empowerment.
Serbian Ambassador to the UAE Vladimir Martić assessed that the signing of the memorandum and the holding of the exhibition represent another important step in strengthening relations between the two countries and promoting the values that connect them.
