A particular focus of this cooperation, as emphasised, will be on gender equality, the political and economic empowerment of women, and the regional networking of women entrepreneurs.
The interlocutors assessed that there is a strong foundation for further advancement of bilateral cooperation and the exchange of good practices in the development of public policies that contribute to greater social and economic participation of women.
Macura and Torosyan reached an agreement on Armenia’s participation in the RISE 2026 international conference, the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the political and economic empowerment of women, as well as more intensive networking of women entrepreneurs from Serbia and Armenia through joint initiatives, exchange of experience and the development of business networks.
