Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić discussed, during his visit to Israel, with Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana the advancement of bilateral relations, strengthening cooperation and current geopolitical issues.
The meeting also looked at the strategic dialogue that has been launched between the two countries, with Đurić emphasising that Serbia sees Israel as a friendly state, and that the two countries and two peoples are connected by historical understanding.
The Minister highlighted the importance of improving political dialogue at various levels.
He also welcomed the initiative to establish the Israeli-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, assessing that it would be an important mechanism for connecting businesspeople and further strengthening economic ties.
The head of Serbian diplomacy highlighted the importance of parliamentary cooperation as an important bridge for further rapprochement and better understanding between the two peoples.
