At the meeting, held within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Đurić emphasised that strengthening political dialogue is of key importance for the stability and development of the entire region, and in that context invited Hoxha to visit Serbia.
Speaking about relations between the two countries in areas of mutual interest, he particularly pointed to the importance of coordination in the EU integration process.
Đurić expressed satisfaction that Albania has officially confirmed its participation in Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade, where it will have the opportunity to present its potential.
At a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Zambia Mulambo Haimbe, Đurić stressed that Serbia is committed to further strengthening political dialogue and enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The Minister expressed particular gratitude to Zambia for its principled and firm position in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
Speaking about opportunities to enhance cooperation, primarily in the economic sphere, the head of Serbian diplomacy pointed out that, thanks to implemented reforms, Serbia has a stable economic situation and has managed to increase its GDP by more than two and a half times over the past decade.
Serbia is particularly pleased with Zambia’s participation in Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade, Đurić conveyed, assessing that this is an exceptional opportunity for the country to present itself and to establish contacts with international business representatives during the event.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also exchanged views with Deputy Managing Director for Western Europe at the European External Action Service Emanuele Giaufret on the importance of participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum and its role as a platform for open dialogue on key global issues.
The potential of the current moment in relations between Serbia and the European Union was discussed, as well as the importance of continuous political dialogue and progress in key reform areas.
The head of Serbian diplomacy reiterated that membership in the European Union remains Serbia’s strategic commitment, emphasising that Serbia is making intensive and comprehensive efforts in implementing reforms.
