Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić spoke by phone with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu about the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, with special reference to the position of Serbs and the role of the OSCE Mission on the ground.

Đurić underlined that Belgrade expects the OSCE to continue to monitor, document and report on the position and respect for the collective political and human rights of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija in an unabated manner, pointing to the numerous challenges that the Serbian community faces on a daily basis.
He highlighted the importance of the OSCE's key functions on the ground and assessed that the consistent and impartial activity of the OSCE is of great importance for preserving stability and building trust between communities.
The interlocutors agreed that it is necessary to continue close cooperation and exchange of information in order to preserve stability on the ground.
