Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić spoke by telephone today with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa’ar about the current situation in the Middle East and bilateral relations between Serbia and Israel.

During the talks, Đurić confirmed Serbia’s respect for Israel as a reliable partner, pointing out Serbia’s understanding of the complex challenges Israel is currently facing.
He said that the conversation reflected the depth of the traditionally friendly relations and that an agreement was made to continue with even closer relations and seek new modes of cooperation on all matters that are of importance for the two countries.
