Serbia, Kazakhstan exchange 10 cooperation memoranda in Astana

Belgrade/Astana, 27 February 2026

Representatives of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan exchanged 10 signed bilateral documents on cooperation between the two countries in Astana, in the presence of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The exchanged documents include the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Serbia and the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan in the field of health; the Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia and the Asset Recovery Committee of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Kazakhstan; and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications of Serbia and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.

Also, MoUs were exchanged in the field of veterinary medicine, in the field of culture on cooperation in the film sector, and in the field of preservation of intangible cultural heritage.

The MoU in the field of digitalisation and the development of electronic governance; the MoU between the Development Agency of Serbia and Kazakh Invest; and the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two countries’ diplomatic academies were signed and exchanged.
