Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić met today in Accra with Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts of Ghana Abla Dzifa Gomashie, with whom he signed a Memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of culture.
Đurić assessed that the signing of this document opened a new chapter in relations between Serbia and Ghana in the field of culture, with the aim of intensifying cooperation, but also bringing the peoples and cultures of the two countries closer together.
He expressed satisfaction with the confirmation of Ghana’s participation in Specialised Expo 2027, which will be held in Belgrade, adding that this testifies to the improvement of overall relations and opens up space for the presentation of Ghana’s creative and cultural potential within one of the most important international events in Serbia.
The Minister emphasised that there is great potential for deepening cooperation in other areas, primarily tourism, as a significant economic sector.
The head of Serbian diplomacy extended an invitation to Ghana to participate in the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, which is an opportunity to present the country’s tourism potential and establish new partnerships in this field.
